About Us
Our dream becomes your reality. The Black Swan vision began in 2006, in a northern suburb of Milwaukee. With the first wedding in 2008, our passion grew alongside every bride and groom. In 2016, after eight years of success in the suburbs, the original Black Swan closed its doors and opened a new location downtown Milwaukee to share its irreplaceable affordability and charm. As Milwaukee has continued to blend its historic and traditional roots with modern and eclectic development, we have been fortunate enough to share the once-in-a-lifetime experiences of those energized by the glamour the city has to offer. Because of our continued growth, we have re-branded our existing Third Ward location as Riverwalk to emphasize its stunning setting along the Milwaukee River. Because Black Swan MKE was built on a dream, we want to be a part of yours. To expand our reach in the area we both know and love, in 2019, we bring you the newest venues of the Black Swan MKE collection: Plant N° 4 and Bianco Room.

Meet Your Host
Meet Stephen Sheperd, Director of Operations at Black Swan MKE. A 2016 graduate from St. Norbert College in De Pere, Wisconsin, Stephen received a degree in Graphic Design. After a few positions in the sports and entertainment industry, he realized his true passion was supporting the family business with his father, Peter. Working at Black Swan MKE for the past two years, Stephen has held various roles and responsibilities in operations, marketing, and customer relations. He leaves you with these words, “At Black Swan MKE, our focus is to provide you with the highest level of service where we know that the details are what matter most.
